How About...

​I am starting a series of very informal mini reviews of books I have read. Why? After I read a book, I always want to talk about it. 

I try to find someone else who has read it but sometimes I can’t. I want to say what I loved about the book, what confused me, and what I wished was different. It’s a craving that I usually have to squash by reading another book--fast. ​

This need for debriefing after a book is what leads me to join book clubs and read reviews. Yes, I read the reviews after the book, for closure almost. It’s what has inspired me to start reviewing here. 

Will there be SPOILERS in my reviews? YES.

Will all my reviews be sparkling and positive? No. I try to keep my blog upbeat but I will say it straight in my reviews. I think the gregorific audience can handle it. If I hate a book (doesn’t happen) then I will not review it. 

Am I a good judge of books? No, not really. I love to read. Anything. Give it to me and I’ll give it a chance. I have a soft spot for romance in any form in any genre. I am most well read in contemporary fiction, women’s lit, and YA. I dabble in memoir, erotica, and mystery. Suggest a book and I’ll try to read it!
