Whew, my brain is sore from exercising over this query so much. I've sweated and twisted and started from scratch too many times. The hook, one- two- three- four, now the intro, one- two- three- four-the bio, one- two- three- four, the closing, one-two-three- four. Ugh, it burns. I'm on the verge of another round of submissions for this little YA paranormal romance I like to call LUPA. I figured, why not? Let's ask my gregorific friends for feedback, and also give them a little peek at what's been wringing me out. Feel free to comment. I have thick skin and a slippery grasp of grammar :0
THANKS!

Dear Gregorific Great Ones,

Lucas and Tim have a killer secret that will either net them social cred or rip them to shreds. The killer secret, also known as the uber-cool Maddie, is not gonna let two dweebs stumbling upon her morphing from a wolf to woman ruin the only foster home she’s ever liked. Tim blackmails Maddie for a boost out of geek-dom while Lucas works to win her trust and if he’s lucky, her heart. Maddie wants what she’s always wanted, to stay wolf permanently and leave the world of love triangles, gossip fests, and clique wars forever.

Lucas and Tim’s clash over how to leverage Maddie’s secret leads Tim to ally with a dangerous hater of wolf-women, his father. Tim tracks and captures Maddie as wolf, hoping a video of her transforming will go viral, exposing her split identity and sliding him into pseudo celebrity. Lucas is forced to pick between his life-long friendship and a (fingers crossed) romance with a girl he’s only dreamed about knowing. Will his decision sway Maddie to stay human and give love a howling chance?

LUPA is an 80,000 word YA paranormal romance told from three perspectives: Maddie as wolf, Maddie, and Lucas. My writing has been published in a variety of places such as: Signs published by Untreed Reads and currently a ‘Hot New Release’ on Amazon.com, The Centre Daily Times, Liquid Imagination, Stanley the Whale Literary Magazine, and The Zodiac Review. Please contact me for more of LUPA.

Sincerely,
THE ORIGINAL GREGORIFIC
